Senior Thesis/Project Presentations
You are invited to attend the King’s Academy Senior Thesis Defense Tuesday evening, May 25, 7:00 PM at RCC. King’s Academy students are required to complete a persuasive thesis or a hands-on project during their senior year in order to graduate. This is intended to be a “capstone” to their education, and to utilize and demonstrate their God-given talents as well as the skills they have acquired during their time at Kings Academy. They have each spent between 50 and 80 hours on this project, and are preparing a demonstration of their work for Tuesday night. Our three seniors this year have each chosen a hands-on project:
- Nick Fukuda will be presenting the plans for his design of a “pool house” building and surrounding landscaping for eventual construction on the Fukuda‘s property.
- Anna Tooze will be presenting “Nightingale,” a children‘s book which she wrote and illustrated in watercolor.
- Katy Hoogendam will be presenting a cookbook she made of over 30 recipes for people with egg and sugar allergies.
